The Labyrinth of the Minotaur

"We'll be marching steadily towards hell, for years walking north towards it, after many years we will arrive there, and see how long we last in the city. This is the Labyrinth of the Minotaur, the punishing maze created by Loki and overlooked by his castle. Beware of the things that will kill you. They are numerous now, and not all human. Look...."

The Skeleton's Ghost waves it's hand towards you, and a cloud of blue ectoplasm flits off your face like mist. You feel yourself going outside of your body and then up and into the sky. High above the landscape hitherto trapping you in this realm made by Loki the killer of Odin, old departed God of men, and all his sons departed. You can see his castle in the distance, but it is far away......

The Skeleton turns you into a bird. Seen from above you are a low flying bird, on a Dyson sphere ring. It would take a few years of travel on foot from the middle of the Maze where you are to the walls at the edges of it....

And as you are a bird you then ignore all that and eat carrion.

There is carrion everywhere nowadays, the last gasps of humanity are falling one by one within Loki's Labyrinth.

Somewhere here wanders the Minotaur. It is said to be indefensible, a mutant of force that crushes its opponents with a blunt hammer. It is said to be the size of many houses stacked on top of each other.
